2026 Kids Events Dates and Times!

Mindy Indy Soap Box Derby (on Duke Street) Friday at 1:00 pm

Friday, July 3rd, 2026 starting at 1:00 pm!

The Mindy Indy takes place off site on Duke Street, Mindemoya, ON. Starting point is near the intersection of Nixon and Duke Street. Registration is at the event starting at 1:00pm. Parents/Guardians must attend. Bike helmets required. Ages 5-12. Free event.

Thank you to The Little Island Racers, Billy Moore, The Spring Bay Pentecostal Church & to Lion Dale Scott for putting on Mindy Indy Soap Box races at the Central Manitoulin Lions Homecoming Weekend 2026.

Free Bouncy Castles Saturday 11:30 am to 3:30 pm

Join us Saturday July 4th for free bouncy castles from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm! Sports bouncer inflatable, Jungle Adventure Maze inflatable and a 40′ Obstacle Course inflatable! The bouncy castles are staffed. Sponsored by the Municipality of Central Manitoulin and Central Manitoulin Lions Club!

Kid’s Ice Cream Eating Competition Saturday at 2:30 pm

Saturday July 4th at 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the main stage.

Registration at 2:30 pm sharp at the Lions Pavilion at the Mindemoya Ballfields 6032 Highway 542 Mindemoya,ON.

For ages 12 and under.

Two different age categories 5 and under and 6 to 12.

Each child gets a bowl of ice cream.

First, second and third in each of the two age categories are awarded medals and gift cards to Rylans Clothing in Mindemoya!

Ice cream sponsored by Buttercup Ice Creamery!

Fireworks Saturday Night

Saturday July 4th at dusk (10 pm) after Green River Revival CCR tribute! Fireworks will be shot off across the street at Platinum Sponsor Manitoulin Chrysler. Lawn chairs welcome! Manitoulin Ribfest grounds are entry by donation to the Central Manitoulin Lions Club.

Sunday, July 5th, 2026 at 11 am on the main stage.

Christophe as been a professional magician for more than 25 years and has performed for audiences all over Canada.
