Frequently Asked Questions

We're getting lots of great questions, so here's a quick FAQ to help you plan your visit to Manitoulin Ribfest, happening July 2–5 at the Mindemoya Ballfields!

🔥 Are coolers allowed?
No. Coolers, outside food, and outside beverages are not permitted on the Ribfest grounds. Come hungry and enjoy delicious food from our award-winning ribbers and vendors!

💲 How much is admission?
Admission is by donation. Your support helps the Central Manitoulin Lions Club continue funding local programs, services, and community initiatives throughout the year.

🐶 Can I bring my pet?
Pets are welcome in the seating area outside the Ribfest grounds, but we ask that no animals be brought onto the ballfield.

🪑 Can I bring a lawn chair?
Absolutely! Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are encouraged. Seating is limited, so bringing your own chair is one of the best ways to enjoy the live entertainment.

💳 Is it cash only?
The Lions food and beverage tents are cash only, but many vendors accept debit and credit. New this year: There will be TWO ATMs on site, making it easier than ever to grab cash if you need it.
